Dojo Features
We have to dojo options depending on the time of interaction you want with the Instructors. Both contain the basic instruction required to gain belt rank.
Our Dojos
Standard Dojo: A traditional LMS approach, unlocking a new lesson every 7 days. Passive learning without a "learning by doing" focus, where retention may fade quickly.
Prime Dojo: At Virtual Kenpo, Prime Dojo redefines training with a "learning by doing" method. It turns passive lessons into active, habit-forming activities, ensuring lasting behavioral change and deeper Kenpo learning.
Lessons
Standard Dojo: Offers instructional videos and written instruction. It provides limited practice drills and does not provide structured review of previous material.
Prime Dojo: Virtual Kenpo’s Prime Dojo uses a multi-faceted approach with instructional videos for clear technique guidance, plus practice drills to apply skills in real-time, embedding them into muscle memory.
1 on 1 Coaching
Standard Dojo: No built in 1:1 coaching so it is more difficult to communicate with the Instructor and there is limited video reviews. Minimal personalized feedback from the instructors.
Prime Dojo: Offers 1:1 coaching for personalized feedback and guidance, plus a video review system where instructors critique uploaded techniques, driving skill improvement.
Student Community
Standard Dojo: No student community or peer interaction.
Prime Dojo: Features a Student Community for peer support, technique sharing, and moderated discussions by instructors, fostering a collaborative space for learners to grow together.
